About Us

Washburn & Associates is a team of highly motivated and skilled individuals dedicated to assisting our clients with the selling, financing, or acquisition of pharmacies. We are committed to providing our clients with high quality services while assisting in the transfer of the pharmacy ownership.

Transactions are completed using a wide variety of industry standards and proprietary tools always based on fairness, integrity, innovation and sensitivity to the client's needs.

Washburn & Associates is not a traditional firm, which only "lists" businesses. We specialize in pharmacies and are a hands-on firm that takes on projects and sees them through to their conclusion. Completing successful transactions in the pharmacy industry since 1972, places Washburn & Associates at the top of companies who handle pharmacy transactions.

Washburn & Associates determines the characteristics of a "saleable" business, performs an analysis to determine the "fair market value", and assists in the development of all documentation. The acquisition analysis is designed to give the buyer clear and concise information concerning the pharmacy. This allows the buyer to come to a quick decision about moving forward.

By having a qualified buyer on hand, we circumvent the public ads, maintain confidentiality in your community, and waste none of your time on unqualified buyers. This process avoids bargain hunters, and helps minimize your day-to-day disruptions. Washburn & Associates is not paid any retainer or up front fees for Listings, and absorbs the costly process if we are not successful.

Washburn & Associates performs a detailed business analysis, negotiates with all parties involved, and ensures that the legal aspects of transferring the ownership are completed. Experience plays a major role in understanding the market, valuing pharmacies realistically, and having the ability to provide expert guidance throughout the the transaction. As CEO and President of Washburn & Associates, Jack Washburn oversees all transactions.

Jack has been in the pharmacy industry since 1972. He is known as an expert in both legal and corporate aspects of transferring the ownership of pharmacies.
